1. General

  1. www.iHotel.mn and its related services are operated by iHotel LLC (Айхотел ХХК, “iHotel”, “we”).
  2. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use, keep and protect it, and how you can have your information deleted. We follow the personal data protection laws of Mongolia.

2. Information we collect

  1. User information: the name, phone number, email address, booking details (property, room, dates, number of guests, special requests) and payment status you provide when you register, sign in or make a booking.
  2. Payments are processed by banks and payment service providers. We never ask for the password or PIN of a payment service.
  3. Usage information: technical information such as pages viewed, searches, device and browser type, collected with cookies and our own analytics to improve the service.
  4. Accommodation (business) information: to list hotels, resorts, ger camps and other accommodation businesses, we use publicly available business information — name, address, location, phone, email, website, photos and description — provided by the business itself or taken from public sources (the business's own website, public Facebook business Pages, OpenStreetMap). We do not collect personal profiles, posts or comments of individuals from Facebook.

3. How we use information

  1. To provide search, booking and payment services; to pass your booking to the property; to send booking-related messages; to support you.
  2. To show accommodation directory information to travellers and to let each business review, correct and manage its own listing.
  3. To keep the service secure, prevent fraud, meet legal requirements and improve the service.

4. Sharing

  1. With the property you book, as needed to fulfil the booking.
  2. With payment providers and contractors that serve us (hosting, email, SMS), only as needed and under confidentiality obligations.
  3. When required by law or by a competent authority.
  4. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention and security

  1. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations (for example accounting records).
  2. Accommodation directory information is kept until the business asks us to remove it or the information becomes outdated.
  3. We use technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access and loss.

6. Your rights

  1. You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your information using the contact below.

7. Data deletion instructions

  1. Users: email info@ihotel.mn with the subject “Data deletion request” and the phone number or email address of your account. We will delete your account and personal information within 30 days and confirm by reply. Information we must keep by law (for example financial records of completed bookings) is excluded.
  2. Accommodation businesses: to correct or remove your property's listing on iHotel.mn (including information taken from your public Facebook Page), email info@ihotel.mn with the listing link and your request. We will handle it within 30 days.

8. Children

  1. The booking service is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Changes and contact

  1. We may update this policy; the date of the latest update is shown here.
