It is on the edge of the National Park and its vast and uninterrupted views extending to the horizon make it an ideal place to relax and reset. Step inside, and you’ll see a celebration of Mongolian artistry from the elegant, hand-painted furnishings crafted by local artisans to the handmade horse saddles and rugs adding a decorative touch. Creature comforts, such as en-suite, all-stone bathrooms, ramp up the luxury quotient, and all gers are heated by wood stoves. The oculus, used by nomads as a sundial, serves as a portal to the sky, flooding the ger with natural light by day, and serving as a window for stargazing in bed by night.

The Three Camel Lodge is the luxury wilderness ger camp of Nomadic Expeditions. Nomadic Expeditions a leading tour operator with more than twenty years of experience creating an exploration and conservation-focused journeys into Mongolia and beyond. The Lodge blends into the stunning landscape of the surrounding Gobi desert sheltered by a 54 million-year-old volcanic outcrop of Mt. Bulagtai. It shelters guests with 40 felt gers or traditional nomadic tents as well as the main lodge of striking design with full facilities. An oasis of luxury in the desert the Three Camel Lodge offers comfort and superb service while maintaining a tangible commitment to the ecology of the Gobi.
